These systems deliver distributed water treatment at a fraction of the cost of traditional infrastructure. These systems have established a track record of success around the world with shipments to and installations in: Mississippi after hurricane Katrina; Haiti after the earthquake; Sudan where they stopped a cholera epidemic; Japan after the earthquake and Tsunami; Iraq and Afghanistan through the U.S. Military in their rebuilding programs.
Projects
WorldWater also develops, designs and builds off-grid and grid-connected Solar Projects for water applications, such as irrigation for agriculture and high-load pumping and distribution for water utilities. The first large-scale project was completed in California in 2002, and since then, successful projects include airports (Denver-CO, Fresno-CA), public water utilities (Atlantic County Utilities Authority-NJ, Valley Center Municipal Water District-CA), irrigation for agriculture (Seley Ranches-CA, ACW Farm-CA) and other commercial/industrial projects (Liberty Science Center-NJ, Cerro Coso Community College-CA).
Stand-Alone Solar Infrastructure
Is immediate, distributed, solar-powered, stand-alone infrastructure designed to pump, flter, purify and desalinate water. The system utilizes proprietary and patented technology. The Mobile MaxPure® can provide sustainable infrastructure for developing economies.
Power and clean drinking water in remote areas, villages and camps without the need to source, buy and deliver fuel.
Easy to use, immediate infrastructure at low cost, and virtually no operational costs, requiring only the sun for continued operation.
Products
In Puerto Rico, developing a 55,000 gallon per day water fltration system at the Borinquen Praderas community in Caguas. The equipment will be powered by a 5 kW solar off grid energy system, with battery back up. More than 100 families will beneft from the project, that should be operational in October 2013.
